ABOUT

The "Fastest Man on Earth" turned entrepreneur and performance mindset speaker & thought leader.
Michael Johnson is an Olympic gold legend. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics he became the first man in history to win both the 200m and 400m. Known as The Fastest Man in the World, Michael set world records in both the 200m and 400m. Since retiring from competition, he has applied the same winning principles across three careers. As an award-winning broadcaster he has covered six consecutive Olympic Games as lead analyst for the BBC. His continued proximity to elite sport gives him a unique perspective on what separates elite performers, and how the lessons of high performance translate into business, leadership and decision-making. As a successful entrepreneur and investor, he has operated at the intersection of sport, wellness, and business. And as a keynote speaker he has delivered over 300 engagements to Fortune 500 companies and high performing organizations on the principles of sustained high performance.
The road to that record of success is never straight. Every career brings its own challenges. What determines the outcome is not whether those challenges arise, but what you do when they do. Michael has navigated all of it, including learning to walk again after suffering a stroke at 50 — and it is that complete journey, wins and challenges alike, that informs what he brings to the organizations and leaders he speaks to.
He remains a passionate advocate for athletes and is helping shape the future of the Olympic movement as a member of the LA28 Board of Directors and Athletes’ Advisory Committee, supporting Los Angeles ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.
Michael's talks have inspired some of the best organizations to greatness.
